Xianyu

Xianyu is a buying and selling platform for second-hand items developed by the giant Alibaba Group that is growing in popularity in China. With this tool, you can easily buy or sell used items through simple and secure transactions, connecting with millions of users. As it is integrated into the Taobao ecosystem, the process of listing something for sale on this app is almost instantaneous. As a result, you can recover part of your investment in a matter of seconds.

Post an ad in seconds

Xianyu is quite intuitive to use, and you can complete a transaction in just a few minutes. Unlike other platforms where you have to go through more complex procedures to sell items, here you have the option to list products simply by scanning a barcode or uploading a photo. On top of this, the tool utilizes the Alipay guarantee system to release payments only when the buyer receives the product.

Xianyu makes buying second-hand products in China very easy

Xianyu offers more than just clothing and electronics. The app features very interesting sections for collectors, for those seeking discontinued electronic components, or anyone who simply wants to exchange items they have around the house that they no longer use. In addition, the app facilitates communication between seller and buyer through voice messages and AI-generated descriptions to streamline negotiations.

My experience with Xianyu

When I tested Xianyu on my POCO F5, I was able to browse the available product catalog without needing to create a user account. However, to buy or sell any item, you do need to link a phone number to create a profile. In just a few moments, I was able to import items I had purchased months ago on Taobao to list them for sale with a single tap. During a few minutes of use, I also explored the collectibles section and found rare items that aren't available in any official store. Although the interface is logically geared towards a Chinese audience, the smoothness of being able to manage payments via Alipay gave me a good sense of security.

What I liked most about Xianyu and what could be improved

• What I liked most: The security provided by the backing of Alipay and the ease of listing items for sale if you are already a user of the Alibaba ecosystem. The variety of products is very wide, and you can find everything from a specific cable to designer furniture or pet supplies.

• What could be improved: Since the interface is completely in Chinese, this makes it difficult to use for international users. Added to this, the saturation of notifications and social features can be somewhat chaotic at first.

Download the Xianyu APK for Android and start earning extra money with items you no longer use. Find exclusive deals and enjoy the peace of mind of buying and selling with the guarantee of one of the leading technology groups on the planet.
